Snowboarding!!

Tweak Tweak go all the new-found muscles in my body after a day of snowboarding in Shiga Kogen.Beautiful weather yesterday permitted a full day of trying my luck on a board and also allowed for numerous kodak moments of not only my clumsiness, but the amazing panoramic views gained from the top of Takamagahara and Ichinose mountains - breathtaking!

Top of Yokoteyama

On top of “Yokoteyama” you can make your way to “Shibutoge” ski area. After 2 days of snow fall, this is the few you get when the sun breaks through.

Ichinose

Today I went over to the “Ichinose Family Ski Area”. And as you can see on the pictures, this is the kind of few you can get around 1900 meters, isn’t “Yakebita mountain Area” just beautiful..

あけまして おめでとう ごさいます

Happy New Year

Unfortunately new years we didn’t really have nice weather.
This picture is taken from a lift on “Yokoteyama”

And on the 3rd of January the sun finally came trough. Isn’t Shiga Kogen just beatifull with a clear bleu sky.
